About the Role:

The Systems Engineer will deploy various software solutions for our projects in the broadcasting industry (specifically MAM – Media Asset Management) and requires someone with a background in systems engineering or administration, and a genuine focus on the customer journey and experience. You will work as part of a professional services team (including other systems engineers, solutions architects, and project managers) and will be client facing (either through remote efforts, or in some cases, face to face).


PLEASE NOTE: This is an immediate start and therefore long notice periods cannot be considered. Please also note that this is a contract role.



  • Setting up, configuring, customizing, and testing systems including integration with 3rd party hardware/software
  • Deliver successful high-quality systems as part of a wider project team with its members located in Europe/USA
  • Perform onsite and remote installations of MAM system solutions
  • Participating in concept development and product specification
  • Constantly learn more about the broadcast industry, it’s equipment, products, cloud technologies etc.


Required Experience:

  • At least 3 to 5 years’ experience as a systems engineer, with in-depth experience in a Linux environment
  • Experience in scripting and basic programming, using API’s
  • Experience with technical testing, and creating test scripts/procedures
  • Experience developing custom modules and code using the third-party API
  • Excellent communication skills to ensure a smooth/effective dialogue end-users, developers, and technical colleague internally, and externally
  • The ability to work independently, and show confidence amongst stakeholders
  • The ability to work European hours, and in some cases, also USA hours


Bonus Skills (But not a dealbreaker)

  • Experience in the broadcast IT industry with exposure to Media Asset Management (MAM)
