Scrum Master (OTT-Video)

About the Role:

The role of Scrum Master is an important one for Ovyo, for a strategically placed Cloud based video migration project. We require someone with a background in the video industry, that can join us initially as a short-term contractor (with the view of likely extension) and oversee 3 scrum development teams. A strong background in an Agile environment is key to this role, with a qualification as an Agile Practitioner required. Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage and deliver project requirements for up to three Scrum teams
• Deliver as needed from the backlog
• Arrange Scrum events, demos etc. and liaise with the wider business as needed
• Anticipate, manage, triage & resolve issues & risks
• Report on progress, status, KPIs etc.
• Mentor and support the team to follow defined methodology

 Requirements:

• At least 4-6 years’ experience within the software industry, ideally within Agile Software development
• At least 3 years’ current experience working as Scrum Master for development teams in Azure (overseeing multiple scrum teams)
• Degree (or similar) in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
• Additional qualifications as an Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Scrum Master, PRINCE2 or Project Management Professional (PMP), plus a certification in Azure
• A background within the Video industry (OTT)
• Excellent communication skills with strong senior stakeholder management experience
• Available to work EU (CET) hours
