Android TV Developer (Mid – Senior)

Responsibilities:

• Developing high-quality, reusable, and scalable code
• Using implementation and design best practices
• Implementing and integrating new features into an existing codebase
• Following a DevOps approach and Agile methodology
• Following a clean, modular, architecture approach
• Developing pixel perfect UI to provided designs
• Participating in daily Scrum calls, Agile sprint planning sessions, mid sprint demos, end of sprint demos with fully tested features for all modules

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience (Mid-level Developer), 5+ years’ experience (Senior level Developer) on an Android TV project
• Deep experience programming in Kotlin and Java (for Android)
• Expertise with Android 5.0+
• Understanding of multimedia content delivery protocols such as HLS, DASH etc, DRM integration e.g., Widevine and Player knowledge e.g., ExoPlayer
• Experience integrating rich 3rd party features into an existing codebase e.g., Billing integrations, Social integrations etc.
• Demonstrable experience successfully developing and delivering Android TV applications
• Proven experience developing and implementing advanced UI/UX
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, Git Flow, and Git Rebase
• Architecture skills
