Programme Manager (OTT-Video)

About the Role:

The role of Programme Manager is an important one for Ovyo, and a strategically positioned opportunity to lay strong foundations within an exciting Cloud based video migration project. We require someone with a background in the video industry, that can join us and take an overarching leadership position. A strong background in an Agile environment is key to this role. Responsibilities:

• Owning the delivery component of cloud based VOD programmes
• Managing scrum teams (management of the Scrum Masters for each)
• Oversee reporting, effective communication & escalation across the delivery organisation
• Define, document, establish & implement the adoption of the Agile framework across the teams
• Be responsible for consistent training and development of the Agile Framework across all teams where gaps in knowledge are identified

 Requirements:

• At least 8-10 years’ experience as a product/programme manager within the software industry
• Additional qualifications as an Agile Certified Practitioner and Agile Coach (PMI-ACP), PRINCE2 or Project Management Professional (PMP) would be a bonus
• A strong Agile Programme/Product Management background within the Video industry with an in-depth understanding of the architecture (backend/end-to-end)
• Good experience having coached scrum teams/scrum masters as a certified Agile Coach
• Excellent communication skills with strong senior stakeholder management experience
