What we do

Ovyo provides flexible Engineering team & talent services to the streaming (video/media), satellite and comms industries. If you need extra capacity in your Engineering or delivery teams that’s ready to hit the ground running, Ovyo will quickly provide highly experienced & capable resources or teams from one or more of our global delivery centres to augment your teams or to take over delivery of a certain area or project.

If you are looking to scale up your own off-shore or near-shore teams, we also provide strategic resourcing services where we can find people to either join you directly or on a try-before-you-buy basis.

We provide industry-experienced people & teams on a short-term or long-term basis, with a fast start and a flexible offer. For example, we can provide a whole Scrum team of Developers and QA Engineers alongside a Scrum Master and BA to take ownership of a project or initiative for the medium term, e.g. 9-24 months, or we can provide 3 specific Software Engineers or PMs to augment your team to help you deliver more for a shorter term period e.g. 3-6 months.. And naturally there’s complete flexibility on how many people and how long for.

We provide experienced people from our teams in India (working CET if wanted), Portugal, UK, South Africa, Brazil, US or Eastern Europe. All our people are experienced & knowledgeable industry experts, are stringently technically vetted and have great English comms.
Experienced Engineers (or other technical or nontechnical resources) to flexibly join and support your existing teams per your established ways of working.
Ovyo is laser-focused on the industries we serve, so we can hit the ground running and add value from Day 1. All our people are experienced (we don’t hire Grads or Junior level) and we can work CET hours from India or US EST-PST hours from Brazil. We pride ourselves on how quickly we can respond to your needs and all work is overseen by a Customer Success Manager who holds regular reviews with you.
Teams to take over all or part of a project or roadmap, who can provide technical leadership if wanted, blending your and our ways of working to maximise results. Often medium-term or long-term engagements. All our people are experienced & knowledgeable industry experts, are stringently technically vetted and have great English comms.
Ready-made teams when you need large capacity quickly to take over a defined piece of a work such as a platform or project on a longer-term basis (possibly including Operations teams, including 24/7 models), or with greater input on technical guidance & ways of working.
Ovyo is happy to adopt as many of your ways of working as you want, whether we are working off-shore, near-shore or mixed-shore. We never lose sight that we are delivering a service for you and your customers. We are happy to ”white label”, where our involvement is transparent. We have an onboarding methodology called PISTON to ensure we are successful and we measure KPIs and perform regular reviews to ensure you are happy.
Strategic recruitment support find the best off-shore or nearshore talent to onboard into your teams, either immediately or on a try-before-you-buy basis, often when you have ambitious goals to scale an internal office or delivery centre quickly.
Opening / launching a new, or expanding an existing offshore or near-shore office where you need to rapidly bring people in to your company.
Ovyo offers the flexibility to “try before you buy”. Whilst we offer this support due to our excellence in talent acquisition, we are not a recruitment firm, we hire many of these roles ourselves so we have a large ready-to-go database of people and understand how to interview and put the right people in front of you and manage the candidate experience endto-end. We have a deep understanding of the nuances of hiring in India, Portugal and other off-shore and near-shore locations, with candidate databases to match, so we can ensure you are effective in scaling as quickly as possible.
Designing, developing, testing and deploying apps and software encompassing front-end, cloud / back-end and integration work.
Commissioning some custom software when you have well-documented acceptance criteria, well-documented APIs & high confidence your requirements will not materially change.
Ovyo can help you leverage the price points of off-shore teams but can also offer on-site or near-shore personnel as part of the project if you need face-to-face interaction. Ovyo teams have expertise across a range of tech stacks including a wide range of front end application technologies (e.g. Android and Android TV, iOS and tvOS, Roku, a range of Smart TVs & games console, React & React Native, HTML etc.), cloud native software (e.g. AWS, GCP) and other technologies such as Java, NodeJS, .NET, Python, and OSS/BSS platforms such as Salesforce and ServiceNow. Our teams are adept with a range of database technologies, test automation tools and CI/CD tools.
