About the Role:

We are always looking to expand our existing talent team with recruiters in the video/OTT/TV sectors. If you have experience sourcing candidates such as Roku/TV Developers, Frontend Developers (React/Javascript) and Mobile Developers (Android and iOS), then we would like to talk to you! We need people with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and proven industry exposure. This is a hands-on recruitment role, with a focus on headhunting and sourcing the best talent to join the Ovyo team on a long-term basis. You will work closely with our stakeholders, our customer success managers, as well as the wider talent team, and form long-lasting, professional relationships to cement your place in the team.


  • Sourcing candidates through headhunting efforts for our technical roles such as Backend/Frontend Developers (React/Javascript), Mobile Developers, TV Developers (Roku) QA Test Analysts, Data Engineers, DevOps Engineers etc.
  • Search Job boards / CV databases for candidates (Linkedin, Naukri etc.)
  • Present detailed notes/feedback and shortlists of candidates to Talent Acquisition Lead/Manager as well as the Customer Success team, and upload all CV’s & notes onto our in-house ATS system
  • Build talent pools of TV & Media/Technology professionals in the India market, both online (LinkedIn) and within our ATS, helping to keep our talent database live and current
  • Write & post compelling job adverts to attract top candidates
  • Perform market mapping and market research into our industry, clients & competitors
  • Be a brand ambassador for Ovyo by contributing to professional social media engagement

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience recruiting technical profiles in India
  • At least 1 year recruiting within the TV/Video/OTT industry (Roku and Frontend Developers)
  • An understanding of a services / consulting / professional services business
  • Broad experience in managing and leveraging a range of tools and job boards; must include experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and/or Naukri
  • Demonstrated improvement of the personal experience for candidates in recruitment processes
  • Demonstrated strong organisation and prioritisation skills, consistent performance under time pressure
  • Experience qualifying, negotiating offers and onboarding candidates
  • Bringing your energy, enthusiasm, drive, autonomy, and a positive outlook on rapid change/business transformation
  • Excellent communication skills, as well as stakeholder management
